To support organisations through their tender and bid processes.
Large scale service contracts require a great deal of work before progressing to tender to produce accurate specifications of the service required. They need managing to ensure the correct objectives, specifications, timescales, budgets are established. The same can be said of large bids, i.e. the ‘other side’ of the procurement process.
We have worked with a number of cusotmers to manage both tender and bid processes, applying proven principles alongside years of expertise in the field ensuring the project is managed appropriately and successfully.
Issues / Challenges
Each engagement carries its own issues and challenges but with our experience and expertise, we can support our customers to overcome them.
Aims of the project
Each engagement will have its own specific aims, but typical common requirements often involve:
- Identify requirements
- Develop a specification for plans for each department
- Identify appropriate hardware, communication and systems infrastructure platforms to support the bid process and subsequent operational activity
A tender or a bid are usually important projects, and as such, require the same rigour and governance. This is especially important as the start where the strategy and objectives must be properly thought through and approved.
The ouput of a successful tender process is a published tender document – the outcome is the right supplier selected.
The output of a successful tender process is a submitted bid document – the outcome is winning the contract!
